Ralf Möller founded the company „PULSA Computer Handels GmbH“ in Preußisch Oldendorf, Ostwestfalen. The company started as an importer and wholesaler for PC-Main boards from Far East.
1995
PULSA has installed the first restaurant systems and discovered the POS-Systems (Point of Sale-Systems) for the company. An own brand „ART development“ is created.
1996
The company growths. The expansion needs new space- and stock capacity. The company moves to Fiestel next to Espelkamp, one of the northernmost towns in North Rhine-Westphalia
1998
PULSA concentrates their care and business on wholesale and distribution of POS-Systems and Auto-ID-Systems (automatic Identification systems = Barcode-reader, Scanner, label printer-Systems, Touch screens, Mobile Data entry in industry-/stock areas)
2002
PULSA imports POS- and Auto-ID-Systems additional from Far East. Also the Top-brand „Birch“ (for example Barcode-Scanner und Touch screens) from Taiwan enlarges the product range.
2003
The Internet shop from PULSA has opened, ordering 24/7 days is possible. At the same time is the company awarded as a specialized trade partner through Datalogic. Datalogic is one of the largest manufactures of Barcode reader and mobile Data entry units in Europe. Birch and PULSA are signing a contract for the exclusive distribution for the German speaking market. The staff has grown up to to 10 employees.
2004
PULSA is exploring new markets. The export increases, especially in the EU.
2005
The Company fulfils all requirements for the „WEEE”, one year earlier as required (law for return and recycling of electronic goods to the manufactures beginning in 2006). The company has 14 employees and increases the revenue for 40 percent.
2007
The company now employs 16 employees and increases its sales once again at 15 percent.
2008
The company gets assigned by the japanese manufacturer Toshiba TEC with the distribution of its POS hardware like POS systems and receipt printers. The branch of assembling monitors (assembling TFTs) with or without touch by our private brand ART development finds its additional place in our product proposal.
2009
The representative in Berlin Tempelhof-Schöneberg gets opened. The company includes the information terminals and kiosk terminals to its range of products and supports customers regarding hard- and software of these product right from the representative in Berlin. The company now employes 18 employees.
